Deep Thinkers, Rise

Do you often catch yourself zoning out because you're too deep into your thoughts? Do you also find small-talk boring? Do you usually choose to stay quiet but become annoying once someone mentions a recent hyper fixation of yours?

Then, my friend, you're a deep thinker.

Therefore, my tribe.

And this is for you.  

We do not know how to not care

Seemingly “menial things" are one colossal affair

Everything bugs us

and felt with intense emotions

We foresee the unforeseen

before it even happens 

We read people, we have trust issues.

We think, "oh must be another ruse"

“Ignorance is bliss", 

we advise others

while struggling to ignore anything

just next to us

For some people “it is what it is" 

but for us, it is NOT what it is.

‘Why?’ is a staple question for anything

we could not ignore but understand.

You say a three-worded sentence

We read between the lines and make it six or even twelve.

We refuse to live with convention

yet we're no rebels.

Confused,

why are we always asked to "just settle"?𝅳

We know what to say,

we don't know what to not.

Everything has a theory

and everything sits in our heads like a clot. 

   The sun, the moon, the Earth

and the human existence itself?

We look for answers

like it's right off the shelf

We fill our brains with rad facts

to share with people

only to tick them off while hoping they clapped

So, we shut down and go back to the world again

The one we created inside our minds

A world that is our peace

and a curtain we can hide behind

A world where our deep thoughts distract us

from reality at times
